Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Valdosta, GA

As pet-owning snowbirds travelling south for winter, we always count on the consistency of this hotel chain. We only had two negatives: a previous guest’s dog had urinated in the corner of the sitting room and had dried and was left, and their bathroom tissue is very course and not pleasant to use. On positive side, the location is quick access to gas stations, restaurants and interstate and room was very quiet for sleeping. Customer service was excellent from both the front desk attendant and breakfast server

I stay in Valdosta a few times a year and this is a great hotel. Decent pricing and the quality is fantastic. Rooms are clean and look top notch. The staff are friendly and professional. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Probably the best I've seen at the many hotels I stay at around GA. They have a wide selection and the hot foods are fresh and tasty. Despite the traffic it is also pretty easy to get in and out of. The adjacent light and turn lane there really helps and I didn't wait but a few seconds to enter/exit even in the rush hour times. 10/10 recommend this place

For our first time in Valdosta we were skeptical about the area but this hotel was great. They were very accommodating. The hotel was packed with a variety of different people but no issues occurred. The hotel was very clean , inside, outside and all things involved. Carpets looked brand new, all furnishings and linens were spotless and smelled fresh. Indoor pool was heated and nice for the kids. Its not very big but it does the job. Workout room adjacent to the pool on the ground floor was nice also. Complementary breakfast was not incredible but again, it did the job. They had eggs and meat, sausage one day and bacon the next. They have bagels and bread, sausage and gravy but no biscuits during our stay. Coffee and hot chocolate was available. The pool towels were VERY small, that is my one and only complaint. The king suite we rented was beautiful and spacious. There was no smell and it was tidy. The couch was a pull out full size mattress bed near the front living area. The bathroom and bedroom had separate doors and the living space could be closed off. There is a iron and ironing board, a blow dryer, fridge and microwave with a mini coffee maker. Cable with a directory on the TV. Everything is centrally located in this general area so nothing is very far away. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are dog friendly and only charge 25 dollars per stay. Definitely enjoyed the stay and would recommend also would come back.

I did not have a reservation but stopped in because I have been to this location in the past. I arrived in the late evening and Tanesha (I believe was her name) was so polite. She was quick to find me a room. She has fantastic customer service skills, but more importantly she was just nice. Perfect employee to represent any business. And when I left a gentleman asked if there was one thing that could have made my visit any better. Nope, you all did a great job. See you next time I am in Valdosta.

After driving 14 hours, we decided to stop on our way to Daytona. We booked online, and called to request an earlier check in so we could get out of the car asap. Latisha was very accommodating on the phone, asking her supervisor if we could check in early with our situation. They called us back within 20 minutes to tell us we could, in fact, check in early. Latisha was waiting for us at the desk, and was incredibly warm and friendly. Highly recommend her for your customer service needs!

Our stay at Country Inn & Suiteswas absolutely fantastic! The moment we arrived, the front desk staff Celinda & Latisha was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in & check-out seamless. Our room was spotless, fresh, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. We loved the convenient location near every restaurant, including waffle House, KFC McDonald’s just down the road and many more restaurants. Their was free breakfast with its wide variety of choices from Greek yogurt make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, cereal, such as Froot Loops frosted flakes and fruits, such as bananas, apples, and much more too much to list. while I was eating breakfast, I noticed that they kept the breakfast area very clean. They were constantly coming out there, refill and stuff and wiping things down very clean. The amenities, like the [pool/gym], were excellent, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and stylish. this is the only indoor swimming pool in Valdosta so that was a big plus for us. We truly felt pampered and can't wait to come back for another visit!

My room was very nice! My only complaint is that the frig and freezer did not work properly, and I could not put my food inside. The young lady at the front desk was a sweet heart . The hotel was very clean and breakfast looked great I just couldn’t stay to enjoy.

The staff are the 5 stars at this hotel. From Latisha, who checked us in and placed our cold packs in the kitchen freezer so that they would be good the next day, to Leah who retrieved the freezer packs in the morning, and Luke who checked us out. They were all professional, courteous, and congenial. The hotel, the rooms have been renovated and were nice and clean (accept for the tile floor). As mentioned, the rooms were renovated, but it looks like they repurposed the older microwaves as ours did not work properly. The rotating plate did not rotate. Note to whoever is in charge. Don’t be cheap. Buy a new microwave. All that money spent on remodelling and you choose to re-use the microwave. We found the water pressure was not the best, but it was first thing in the morning on a weekday and the place was busy. Otherwise, we would stay here again. Thanks, Mel
